OUR TRAJECTORY
Our experience of working in the railway sector began in 1992, after being awarded a subcontract for various wiring and installation of connectors for railway traction, as a part of the order on the Pendolino ETR 450 train.
Later, in 1995, we were awarded our first major contract for the Pendolino ETR 480 in the FIAT FERROVIARIA shipyard in Savigliano (taken over by ALSTOM FERROVIARIA SPA in 2000). Here is a list of just some of the work we have carried out since then:

OUR EXPERIENCE
In recent years we have operated in GTT TORINO providing assistance for public rail transport, at the ALSTOM site in SAVIGLIANO, working on the complete electrical system on NTV trains, on FERROVIA NORD MILANO trains (wiring, heaters and various other work) and modifications on WEST COAST trains. We also carried out the wiring for the LOCO E 464 NEW RETROFIT, and we acted as advisors/mentors in Finland on the HELSINKY - SAINT PETERSBURG trains and assist at the ALSTOM - NTV shipyard in Nola (NA), and we carried out the adjustments and maintenance on the toilet doors of the CTR trains for KNORR - ALSTOM in various Italian railway depots.
We have carried out modifications and installation of ticket validating machines and video surveillance systems on trams and buses in GTT TORINO depots, and at various depots of companies operating in metropolitan areas throughout Italy. We have modified railway carriages by installing sliding doors at passenger entry points, M18p1 terminals, and underbody taps, the addition of hatches on the T6, BARELLATE and GIUBILEO model wagons at the OFFICINE MAGLIOLA of Santhià (TO), with adjustments of various kinds: electrical, mechanical and furnishings. We executed the electrical and mechanical refurbishment of diesel locomotives at the IMC of Milano S.to of TRENITALIA for RFI (Rete Ferroviaria Italiana).
We have installed fixtures and furnishings on the PKP PENDOLINO POLONIA train (ordered by SAIRA SPA GRUPPO TOSONI) and at ALSTOM FERROVIARIA (Savigliano plant), retrofitted modifications on the PKP (ALSTOM) and EMU (TRENITALIA) trains, carried out wiring work on PKP trains at the ALSTOM FERROVIARIA SPA site at Savigliano (CN), and the wiring of electrical panels of the ZEFIRO train (ANSALDO-BREDA), including CABINET-EB-BOX-DB-BOX. We realized the electrical wiring on the ETR 610 SBB SWISS project, retrofitting work on the Ebox Faiveley SBB 8, contracted for ALSTOM FERROVIARIA SPA, again at the Savigliano (CN) plant, carried out work on and modifications to the POP Smart Coradia train (ALSTOM Savigliano and ALSTOM Polska Katowice), and installation of the SCMT system on POP/FNM/HMU rolling stock.
TECNOPI is authorized to carry out modifications for TRENITALIA, FNM, TRENORD (COCS 30 and P096 Trenord Procedure).

RAILWAY ELECTRICAL SYSTEMS
• UNDER-CARRIAGE WIRING
Cutting, threading, cable routing, mechanical assembly and cabling of high/medium/low/electronic voltage equipment located in the electromechanical underfloor conduit. This work relates to the distribution of the train's electrical system to the main equipment (converters, motors and inverters).
• CARRIAGE INTERIOR WIRING
Cutting cables and realization of pre-assembled medium/low/electronic voltage cabling using working boards called T.E.P. (pre-wired electrical boards). These wiring systems relate to the distribution of the train's electrical system within the carriage (signal distribution, lighting/air-conditioning systems/PC and monitor sockets), the driver's cab (the dashboard area) and the roof (the pantograph).
• DISTRIBUTION PANELS
Realization of the mechanics and wiring of low and medium-voltage electrical panels, and electronic and control panels. Automatic point-to-point, insulation and strength testing.
• COMMAND PULPITS AND DASHBOARDS
Cutting cables, manufacture and mounting of pre-assembled medium-low voltage electronic cabling located in the train cab. These wiring systems manage all the electrical equipment and instrumentation located in the driver's cab.
• CARRIAGE-TO-CARRIAGE JUMPERS
Production of carriage-to-carriage jumpers for the transmission of high, medium and low voltage power and data transmission.
• JUNCTION BOXES
Realization, mechanical-electrical assembly, production and automatic testing of the wiring systems related to the transmission of the entire electrical system of the train, located beneath the carriage.
• TRACTION AND AUXILIARY CONVERTERS
Realization of the modification and replacement of electromechanical components.
• TOILETS
Module installation, testing, assistance, troubleshooting, repair, mounting of furnishings.
NAVAL WIRING
• Cutting cables and making pre-assembled medium and low voltage electronic wiring using work panels called T.E.P (pre-wired electrical panels). This wiring corresponds to the vessel’s electrical distribution system, including both the electrical distribution of the engine room, and the on-board equipment and instruments on the bridge.
AVIONIC WIRING
• Cable cutting complete with labeling and manufacture of pre-assembled medium and low voltage electronic wiring using work panels called T.E.P (pre-wired electrical panels). This wiring corresponds to the aircraft's electrical distribution system, dividing it up into completely pre-wired areas.
